Time for a street walk, and in downtown L.A. It also happened to be L.A.’s Chinatown New Year’s Parade. Took the stress free ride on Metrolink from Rancho Cucamonga into Union Station and walked over to Chinatown to see what was happening. A lot, it turned out. Of course no visit to L.A. would be complete without a visit to Philippe’s for an original French Dip and then a stroll through Olvera street before returning to Union Station for a train ride back to the I.E.
